How do i find or build the mechanism for a mini carousel?

I'm making a mini carousel that will sit on top of a dresser and will be a jewelry box. I have the outside shell started but where can i get the mechanism to make it turn like a carousel? It would be great for it to be the automatic/electric or wind up, but any ideas on anything else that would make it turn are appreciated.|||a simple clock motor,from a hobby store...
