Are mini laptops relatively the same speed as a regular laptop?

I am planning on saving for a mini laptop but I play a game called ROBLOX that requires speed and before I buy this I would like to know if they are about the same speed as your everyday laptop. So if you use one or know someone who does please answer. But laptops and netbooks (mini-laptops) vary in what they can do, there's even a netbook that can play crysis. Generally though, it's for web-browsing.|||By spending the same amount of money, you can get a lot better regular laptop rather than a mini laptop.
