What foods are the best to pack for a mini road trip?

My husband and I are planning a mini weekend road trip in a couple of weeks and didn't want to have to eat out any where. We are not camping and will be staying a hotel that we can find but wanted to pack our own food to save on costs. What foods do you recommend for snacks, meals and such? Thanks!|||I would suggest things that will keep well and easy to eat such as:

%26gt; Dried fruit

%26gt; Bread-sticks

%26gt; Fresh bread with fillings that don't need refrigeration i.e corned beef, tuna, sardines

%26gt; Pasta will keep for a few days, just remember to coat it in oil so that it doesn't just stick together. You can cook it before you leave and add tuna, onion or whatever when you need it

%26gt; Crisps

%26gt; Rice is ok for keeping too and you can mix in sweetcorn and things like after

%26gt; Curry keeps well, chickpea curry very good for keeping and nice cold!

%26gt; Cereal bars are great too

Main thing is; enjoy yourself!

A|||frozen foods, canned you know the already made ones and you just heat it up like that
