Adoption fees are not expensive|||here ya go

Hope it helps =0)|||get one from the pound|||There are thousands of dogs that are sweet affectionate obedient loving creatures and are going to be killed because they are in the pound and no one thinks of them when they're looking for a pet. Wouldn't you rather save a good dog for $50 than get some fancy purebred for hundreds of dollars from a breeder?? Think it over.|||That's a hard one, since I don't know your budget. You're not going to get papers from a shelter, and if that's important to you, go for a reputable breeder.

puppysites.com should help. Good luck! :)|||petfinders|||We have a male piebald (mostly white), double dappled (liver/grey in color with both red and chocolate colored spots), wall-eyed (his eyes are blue) miniature dachshund that we got from a very reputable breeder here in Seattle. I believe his parents live in Central Oregon. You may be able to call the breeder directly to see what arrangements can be made in receiving a puppy from them. I hope it works out for you, our little guy is the sweetest thing ever.

Also, you should not be made to feel badly about wanting a purebred puppy. As long as you have researched the breeder that you are buying your puppy from to make sure they aren't a part of the horrible, abusive, inhumane puppy-mills that are way too common in America.

And whatever you do, DO NOT buy your puppy from a pet store, as 99% of them are supplied from a puppy mill. K, I am done preaching now : )

PS If these breeders are not able to help you, they may be able to supply you with the information of a reputable breeder in California...just a thought...
