That's basically it, I see a pair of jeans that the material is such that this would make a great mini-skirt if I knew how to go about it.
Can someone please give me step by step instructions?|||Note: This works best with high-rise jeans. If your using low-rise, you might want to put leggings underneath cause it's going to be kind of short.
1. Cut the jeans into shorts
2. Cut the crotch of the jeans with one snip... do this cut so it's parallel to the waist of the jeans (This one was hard to describe... hope it makes sense)
3. Iron it out
4. Make sure the skirt is even all the way around... you can put a hem in if you want, but it might make it shorter
5. Yay! You're finished!|||1. cut each pant leg however short you want it
2. cut the inside of the pant like the seam facing inside your leg
3 sew each side together. the front will be one half of the cut you made in #2 and the back will be the back cut.
4. ready to go!
hope this helps:)|||Cut down the inseam down the inside of the legs. Then cut across the legs at the height you want the skirt. Then you sew the inseam on both sides of the skirt overlapping. It should kind of look like a little triangle like patchwork.|||http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1640733/re鈥?/a>
