How much does it cost to operate a mini-fridge?

i am thinking about buying myself a mini fridge for my room, but my parents will only allow me if i pay for the electricity to run it. so i need to know how much electricity a mini fridge uses and how much it would cost.








thanks muchly|||XD are your parents retarted? Running a mini fridge will cost about as much electricity as running a water cooled computer with a few fans in it. I think an X-Box 360 costs like 40 cents a week based on it's wattage, you have little to worry about and so do your parents. If you accidently leave the bathroom light on longer then you should you will make them pay more then running a fridge that occasionally cools itself.|||Not very much at all for a "dorm" ref.


This type has no electric heaters inside to defrost the freezer section ----which would use more electricity if it did --- it is a regular manual defrost box. This means you have to defrost the box once in a while yourself and clean it out.


I would think that $3 to $4 per month would do it.
